Bloc’s 50 over 50 Award given to North End Teleservices Director of Business Development
OMAHA, NEBRASKA, USA, December 12, 2023 /North End Teleservices, LLC’s (NET) Director of Business Development has been awarded the Bloc’s 50 Over 50 designation. Hibbeler has over 38 years in the telecommunications industry managing, creating, and expanding Business Process Outsourced (BPO) and in-house call centers from the ground up.
Hibbeler got his start in telecommunications at the age of 18 when he left his restaurant job for better pay. “I had worked in restaurants since I was in high school. They had bumped up the minimum wage to $3.35 an hour, but there was a younger company called First Data that was hiring people to be Airline Reservation Agents. They paid $4.24 an hour and I didn’t have to smell like the colonel’s chicken,” says Hibbeler.
That fateful decision to leave his food service job for better pay would also lead Hibbeler to make significant contributions to the telecommunications industry, having created and sold one of the industry's first Quality Assurance measurement software packages. He also built an outbound voice message broadcasting platform capable of making a million daily calls and created a process to improve the answering machine detection accuracy of Intel’s telecom system from 80 percent to over 97 percent. For this, Hibbeler was awarded a U.S. Patent for “Outbound Message Personalization,” which doubled response rates.
