Leadership took an interest in not only my career advancement but my personal goals. Even in my interview with the COO, he took the time to recognize my skills and help me develop and improve them. To this day, my interview at NET will be a memorable one. Our CEO Carmen met with me personally and asked me, “What do you want to achieve with your time at NET?” I told her, “I want to be where you are now.” She believed in me and said, “Anything you want to do, you can do it.” There are resources, mentors, and the knowledge here for me to achieve my dreams. I’ll never forget a month later she still remembered my name, and my aspirations in life. I’m proud to say that within my first six months I was promoted, and within two months of my promotion, I was selected for the Front-line Supervisor Apprenticeship. I still have a lot to learn but here at NET I have the opportunity for the growth I was seeking, and the advancement needed to grow as a young professional. I’m looking forward to new ways of elevating myself and paving the way for others around me.
