Forbes ‘Next 1000’ Names North End Teleservices, LLC President and CEO Carmen Tapio to 2021 List

OMAHA, Neb. Dec. 29, 2021 – North End Teleservices, LLC (NET) today announced the organization’s president and chief executive officer, Carmen Tapio, was named to the 2021 Forbes Next 1000, a list of “inspiring entrepreneurs and small business leaders—many from diverse, underrepresented communities—who are redefining what it means to build and run a business amid the new normal,” according to Forbes.

“As we enter another pandemic year, entrepreneurs and small business owners are finding new ways to thrive amidst ever-uncertain circumstances,” said Maneet Ahuja, senior editor, Forbes. “The fourth and final class of Next 1000 entrepreneurial heroes is writing the playbook for not only achieving financial recovery but speeding past it. These sole proprietors, self-funded shops and pre-revenue startups are proving that – through resolve, hard work, and solid planning – anything is possible.”

Tapio said the organization’s philosophy of “taking a holistic view of everyone we employ; not only by helping them to create a vision for their lives and what is possible, but also by helping them to achieve it,” is key to her team’s success.

Such an approach has produced dividends. In 2021, North End Teleservices was identified as No. 6654 on Growjo’s list of fastest-growing organizations in the world. NET was also named No. 754 on the 2021 Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing, privately held organizations in the U.S.

“As the nation’s more than 30 million small business owners recover from the global pandemic, many have seen their survival threatened yet again by a surge in Covid-19 cases. While many businesses have experienced losses in revenue and are being forced to reduce hourly pay yet again, the honorees have remained resilient and resolved to keep their businesses afloat,” Forbes Next 1000 editors noted in a September press release.

Resiliency and innovation, Tapio said, have helped North End Teleservices “speed past adversity” created by the pandemic.

“We have been very intentional about growth during economic uncertainty and have remained open, flexible and innovative throughout the pandemic. We pivoted, expanded and created new service solutions and grew by being a part of the recovery,” she said.

Tapio added, “It is such an honor to be included in this year’s Forbes Next 1000. Congratulations, to all of the honorees, and thank you to Forbes for recognizing so many incredible visionaries.”

The Forbes Next 1000 list, presented by Square, spotlights a total of 1,000 entrepreneurs who are announced each quarter in installments of 250 standouts.
