Thanks to NET Team Members Leiloni Brewer (team Captain) , Tynisha Devers, Samantha Coleman, Stacey Jackson and TeKiyah Henderson for attending the 24th Street Clean-Up Community Outreach event which cleaned from 24th and Wirt to 16th Wirt and back. Dory Reed organized the group but sadly was not able to participate on the day. We still thank her for her leadership!

They started with a brief introduction about the community clean-up and how Mrs. Lavonya & Danny Goodwin began the program in the summer. Their mission is to bring our community together by letting them know that we care about their living conditions and want to change the stereotype about living down north through beautification and restoration. The organization has additional properties and opened a community garden that give the north area a natural environment to enjoy.

The team looks forward to more opportunities to serve in our community once things are safer (lowered COVID cases).
